Music Videos & Fake Trailers
Here you will find the "fan made music videos" and "fake movie trailers" I create, when I am inspired. I hope you find enjoyment in them. I know I enjoyed making them. Thank you for visiting.
Music Videos
Princes of the Universe by Queen / Star Wars Original Trilogy
The one that started it all, so to speak. One of the first videos I posted on the channel when I started it in 2006. Originally made this with A/B SVHS editing decks in 1996 when I was in college. Took many hours back then. I used the footage from the Original Trilogy, before special edition. I may one day go back and do a higher quality one using the despecialized editions or the 4k transfer versions. Still one of my favorite pieces I have made.
(NOTE: For some scenes I didn't have to try to match up the action, it naturally fit. Particularly the shot of the Falcon flying away and the explosion. In the back you can see the tie fighter explode on the exact drum hit. It just naturally landed there) |

I Gotta Wear Shades by Timbuk3 / Back to the Future Trilogy
Another one I made in college. While watching the Back to the Future Trilogy, I noticed a lot of eye wear kept showing up in the first two films. I always loved the song "I Gotta Wear Shades" so it seemed like a natural fit. Again many hours with the A/B SVHS editor. There are few edits I would like to have done different but overall I still had fun making it.

Give Me the Prize by Queen /Star Wars Prequels & Org. Trilogy
I actually had a number of subscribers soon after posting my initial few videos. One of them went by the handle of "RetroFan". They had made the comment that I should do a video with "Gimme The Prize" featuring the Sith. I loved the idea and came up with this. Songs from "It's a Kind of Magic" seem to just fit with Star Wars. This was the final product.
( NOTE: This was another one where the footage and audio naturally matched up beautifully. Near the end of the video, I use the beginning of Anakin and Obi-Wan's Lightsaber battle. The Sword hits from the song matched up perfectly with all of the flurry of lightsaber hits in the scene. No special editing. Like it was meant to be.) |

The Final Countdown by Europe / Titan A.E.
At one point I had an iMAC3 that came with editing software. To try it out I decided to try making another video. I had watched Titan A.E. recently and the song "The Final Countdown" just popped in there. This one got a major flag on YouTube so I had to take it down. Here it is though for your enjoyment.
I do not claim any ownership of the copyright, just a fan of both pieces of art and think they went well together. May revisit this one and do a different version some day. |
FAKE TRAILERS
Jabba's Palace of Pain
Grindhouse aesthetic was in again after the "Grindhouse: Planet Terror / Death Proof came out. Jabba is one of the more grimy characters to show up in a Star Wars film and his palace is definitely a den of debauchery we have not really seen since. So I thought what it would be like to give Jedi the old Grindhouse treatment.

IDS Rising Mock Trailer
(WARNING - This video will contain disturbing footage)
Filmmaker Cory Udler was just releasing his final installment in the Incest Death Squad series. The movie was called "IDS Rising". Around the same time Paranormal Activity 4 trailer had dropped. The audience reactions did not seem to fit the film. So I decided to give the audience something to truly look shocked about. I took Cory's Trailer and the PA4 trailer and mashed them together. (Warning there is definitely footage that will disturb viewers) |
Ani and the Emperor
Always thought that Anakin and the Emperor had an very intimate relationship. So I imagined a romantic film where they two could possibly be a couple.
Audio is "Looking for the next great idea." from A Beautiful Mind Score " and "Swing Heil" from Swing Kids Original Motion Picture Soundtrack |
